Ethical Gifts (assignment #9)

For this assignment my class had to visit four different charities. These charities all offer gifts for developing countries (i.e: clean water, live stock, food.) for donations. These charities were; Oxfam, the Salvation Army, Plan Canada, And World Vision.

Ms.Crosbie gave us all $100 to spend on gifts (imaginary of course, if she had that money she'd probably be in Italy right now.) she said to get the most bang for our buck.

With my 100, I got four different gifts that I really think will make a difference, all from Plan Canada too.

Emergency Food Rations ($20.00)  All the nutrients you need to survive an emergency situation.
Home Birthing Kit            ($25.00)  This kit will help the mother deliver her baby and also help it grow.
Endless Harvest               ($40.00)  With this gift families recive tools, seeds, and lessons how to keep
                                                          away the pests.

3 Baby Chicks                 ($15.00)  With these chicks people (mostly women) will learn how to take care of
poultry and also provide business for them (selling the eggs if you
                                                         didn't figure that out)
